Use of our mobile app

§ 1 Information on the Processing of Personal Data

(1) In addition to our online services, we provide a mobile app that you can download to your mobile device. Hereinafter, we inform you about the processing of personal data when using our mobile app. Personal data is all data that can be personally related to you, e.g., name, address, email addresses, user behaviour.

(3) When you contact us by email or via a contact form, the data you provide (your email address, possibly your name and telephone number) will be stored by us to answer your questions. The data collected in this context will be deleted once the enquiry is allocated to a contract, after the periods for the contract duration, otherwise when storage is no longer necessary [usually after three years], or processing is restricted if there are statutory retention obligations.

(4) If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will always select and monitor these service providers carefully and inform you in detail below about the respective processes. We also specify the defined criteria for the storage duration.

§ 2 Your Rights

(1) You have the following rights regarding your personal data concerning a responsible party:

• Right to information
• Right to rectification or deletion
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to object to processing
• Right to data portability

(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

§ 3 Processing of Personal Data when Using our Mobile App

(1) When downloading the mobile app, the necessary information is transferred to the app store, in particular, user name, email address and customer number of your account, time of download, payment information, and the individual device identifier. In addition, the app store independently collects various data and provides you with analysis results. We have no control over this data processing and are not responsible for it. We only process the data to the extent necessary for downloading the mobile app to your mobile device.

(2) The mobile app is loaded onto your mobile device and can be used without access to the internet. No personal data is collected during its use.

(3) The mobile app uses the current location of the mobile device to enable precise calculation of the sun's position when setting up control products. The location data is not stored.
